I was impressed. Great lesson on the biology aspect of it. Makes a lot more sense to me now. By watching this I realized how much money I was actually wasting on fertilizer. Good examples on available equipment. I am a visual learner. Do more visuals during the soil sample test explanation, especially the math part. Just because I never learned it before. Visuals help novices learn quicker. Would like to see a part on matching the plants to the soil type. Examples of what may grow best in certain areas. I know its not fool proof but just some ideas.

Wow, what a plethora of knowledge. I've worked on some of these projects with Steve and can tell you that each time I've walked away with a better understanding as to how others just do it wrong. If you only take away 1/2 of the information presented here, you'll find yourself walking through lush greens and hear racks cracking in the woods! If you are serious about wildlife and improving your land, DO your homework and listen to experts.

You won't find any videos on YouTube that are this in-depth. Everything you ever wanted/needed to know about food plots is covered. I realized how much I didn't know about planting and maintaining food plots. I wish this was available when I started planting food plots. I would have saved thousands of dollars and cut years of my learning curve.

This course is outstanding. Just the maps on Locating Suitable Soil are worth the price of the course. Detailed, fascinating information. –Prof. J. M. R.

Worked in land acquisition and sales since 1990.

I have been working with landowners one way or another for about 30 years.  In the last ten years or so, I have concentrated my consulting work on managing land for healthy forests and wildlife habitat improvement.

My work includes forest regeneration, timber stand improvement, food plot installations and total habitat restructuring in the Northeast.

I have been an avid hunter since I was 11 and have traveled all over the continent in pursuit of big game.  I love to observe wildlife of all kinds and my biggest rewards come from creating a place where wildlife of all kinds can thrive.
